„The university I want to attend…”

„I would like to go to a university, where ….” – finishing this sentence is not easy, as we don’t know what higher education will be like for the next generation. Even if institutions have a plan for their future, in this ever-changing world, they have very little information on what high school students of the future would want.

Which universities will be attractive?

The one where students graduate with the knowledge on state-of-the-art technologies, exploiting opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, and working either independently or in groups to find unique solutions?

Or is community, the alma mater experience, more important than anything else? Would the world of renowned professors and young teaching assistants remain attractive?

Is an institution where they teach in a foreign language deemed “cool”, or should we preserve and develop Hungarian science in our mother tongue?

What constitutes the attractiveness of universities? Is it the “paper” they issue, the time students spend there, or the knowledge gained?

We often hear about employers’ demands for universities. But do we hear enough of high school students’ opinions? What’s more, should high school students’ parents have a say in their career choices? How about high school? Or society, community, and the country? Do they have a say?

Every student has an idea and every opinion counts! We would like to hear yours.
